The young cougar wrestling team’s season is at an end teamwise, as they finish the season 15-15.

The march for an individual state title moves on though.  3 wrestlers placed at Districts this past Saturday.  103lber Chase Schroder placed 4th, narrowly losing to the #1 seeded wrestler 4-3, and is now 33-9 on the season.  125lber Derek Nicks overcame his #6 seed placing 3rd, and defeating an athlete that he had previously lost twice to.  285lb Alejandro Ignacio overcame his #4 seed placing 3rd.  All of these athletes will compete next Saturday at Dalton Kellogg High School.  Good Luck and congratulations.
