Derek Nicks takes to the mat today

Good luck to sophomore Derek Nicks as he begins his quest for a state title today at The Palace of Auburn Hills.  Derek is wrestling at 125lbs and will wrestle his only match of the day sometime around 4pm.

3 Cougar Grapplers Move on to Individual Regionals

The young cougar wrestling team’s season is at an end teamwise, as they finish the season 15-15. The march for an individual state title moves on though.  3 wrestlers placed at Districts this past Saturday.  103lber Chase Schroder placed 4th, narrowly losing to the #1 seeded wrestler 4-3, and is now 33-9 on the season.

GRCC Grapplers off to 9-0 start!

The young cougar wrestlers went into West Catholic on Wednesday night to compete in their 2nd OK Blue conference competition.  They came away with a decisive 67-11 win in front of a huge royal blue crowd of alumni, parents, and students.  The rowdy crowd fueled Lucas Johnson, who had the match of the night with

C.C. Wrestling team off to quick start

Losing 4 All-Stater’s, let alone 3 NCAA wrestlers would usually be catastrophic to a program.  So far this young cougars wrestling team, which has 35 athletes on it, has rolled along to a 7-0 record.  In the opening team tournament at Calvin Christian, the varsity won the championship with final scores of: CC 52- Montague

Kole Krauss Signs MSU Letter Of Intent

Kole Krauss surrounded by friends, family and coaches signed his letter of intent to continue his wrestling career at Michigan State University.  Congratulations Kole!  The entire CC community is proud of you and will be rooting you on in the coming years.

Foster Karmon finishes season with 3rd State Title and undefeated season

Four cougars went to the Palace seeking a state title to cap off their season, with Foster Karmon coming away with the lone championship.  Foster continued his dominant ways, and finished off a stellar undefeated season for GRCC, winning by decision and cementing his name forever in the CC record books as a three time

Cougar wrestlers win 4th straight District title!!!

The GRCC cougars dominated competition last night at C.C. High, with two dominating performances.  For the seniors of this team, this was their 4th consecutive District titles.  They will work to make it their 3rd regional title in a row next Wednesday.
